Hello and welcome to LiteratureforPoints March 2013 Contest

CONTEST INTRODUCTION

Countries around the globe celebrate Easter by their own local traditions and interesting activities. Easter eggs, chickens/chicks, bunnies and chocolates are common to the Easter celebration and festivals take place with magnificent displays. Children believe that the Easter bunny or rabbit visit their houses or gardens to hide eggs, alternatively people decorate and exchange eggs made of various materials.  

CONTEST DETAILS

Theme: Easter = Entries can be anything relating to Easter. (Religion is not permitted because people may not share the same religious views as you, sorry)    
Genre: Any genre is accepted  
Rating: K-T
Language: English
Fanfiction/Fiction/Short Stories: 500-2000 words
Poems/Song Lyrics: 10-20 lines
Start Date: 1st March 2013 (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time.)
End Date: 31st March 2013 (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time.)
Winners Announcement: 7th April 2013 (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time.)

PRIZES

1st Place: $20 to commission on DA – 3 month Premium Membership – 1000 points
2nd Place: $10 to commission on DA – 1 month Premium Membership – 500 points
3rd Place: $5 to commission on DA – 1 month Premium Membership – 250 points

If you would like the money as a prize instead of spending it on commissioning YOU MUST HAVE PAYPAL Winners are responsible for finding a DA member who is accepting commissions/whose commissions are open.

CONTEST RULES

You must be a member of the group to participate.
Only one entry per person.
Entries have to be a new deviation.
Entries must be your own literature.
There has to be 5 entries for this contest to run.
Entrants must have a donation pool on their profile or journal page (For prizes to be donated)

HOW TO SUMBIT YOUR ENTRY

Please submit your entry to the group events folder.

(1) Click on “Gallery”
(2) Scroll to find “Group Events” then click on it.
(3) Click on “+ Contribute To This Folder” The “choose a deviation” box should pop up.  

Please make sure your entry description mentions LiteratureforPoints and the words "Easter Contest" or it will be rejected, sorry.
